| At Caribbean Airlines we pride ourselves in the special care we take of your kids. Our Unaccompanied Minors (UM) service is provided for children between the ages of 5 and 11. Whether they are travelling on our direct or connecting services, we will take special care of them. |
| Who can travel alone? |

| Children aged 5 -11 years may travel alone on flights operated by Caribbean Airlines, providing there is a pre-arranged Unaccompanied Minors service in place. The Unaccompanied Minors service is optional for children travelling alone between the ages of 12-15. |

| Who must be accompanied? |
 |
|
|
|
Children aged 2 - under 5 years must be accompanied by someone who is 16 years or older. Children aged 5 - 11 years will be accepted for travel providing there is a pre-arranged Unaccompanied Minors service in place or they are accompanied by a passenger 16 years or older.

| Special Requirements for entry into Barbados |

|
|
Children unaccompanied under the age of 16 visiting Barbados require a notarized letter from his/her parents or legal guardian stating that permission has been given for the minor to stay with a host/hostess; their full name, address and telephone number must be included in the letter. Please note that no male other than a father is allowed to receive a minor and he must produce paternal proof and a female occupant of the house is also required to meet them. Children 16-18 years of age travelling unaccompanied must have the full name and address of their hostess; a letter is not required. By order of Barbados Immigration and Passport Department letter ref 173 dated 9th May 2008.

A charge of US$100.00 is applied for each child each way. No charge will be applied for travel between Trinidad and Tobago.

| 6 Step Meet & Assist Policy for Direct/Non-Stop/Connecting Flights |

|
|
| |
1) The agent will accompany your child through the security check and proceed to the gate area. 2) Once boarding is announced, your child will be escorted to the aircraft ahead of other passengers to the seat assigned. The child will be greeted by the Purser/In-Charge Cabin Crew, who will guide them to their assigned seat. 3) Throughout the flight, your child will be supervised by Cabin Crew members. 4) Upon arrival at your child’s destination, the Purser/In-Charge Cabin Crew will help them disembark, and will hand them over to an airport agent, who will escort your child to the Arrivals section to meet the person designated on the UM envelope. 5) The person meeting the child will be required to present valid photo identification before accepting responsibility for the child. 6) For transit stops, transfer/connecting points, delayed flights the UM is kept under our constant care and escorted through all governmental formalities as necessary. |

Have a chat with your kids and prepare them prior to the trip by explaining what to expect and who is going to meet them at the other airport |

Show them pictures of the airline so they can easily identify us and feel a bit more comfortable before they arrive

Ensure all their relevant documentation is completed to avoid any unnecessary hassle |
