Caribbean Airlines Invaders Steel Orchestra has a new look! The steel orchestra which celebrates seventy years this year and has the distinguished honour of being the longest existing steelband in Trinidad will be sporting new vibrant colours in time for the biggest ever Carnival in Trinidad and Tobago.
The new designs which were officially introduced to the media on Wednesday 26 January 2011 featured motifs that were distinctly Caribbean. The rear of the pan yard is home to a large Caribbean Airlines aircraft that stands 36 feet wide and 11 feet high. "Caribbean Airlines is the preferred airline of choice for the Caribbean and this new Caribbean Airlines Invaders design portrays the rhythm and vibrancy of the home of the steelpan and by extension, Trinidad and Tobago through the use of new and exciting colours" says Alicia Cabrera, Caribbean Airlines' Marketing Manager.
Visitors to the pan yard will be greeted by an archway which is adorned with streamers in the colours of the Caribbean Airlines logo.
