You have heard the infectious re-make of popular calypso Lorraine advertising great fares on all the radio stations, and now Caribbean Airlines is concentrating its marketing efforts online with the unveiling of CARIBBEAN FACES! The airline is launching an online search for brand ambassadors to represent the airline at various events at its destinations including Miami, Ft. Lauderdale, New York and Toronto! The website www.facesofcaribbeanairlines.com goes live on Wednesday 24 June 2009 and encourages both men and women between the ages of 18 and 28 to participate.
The online search is open to all those who are from the Caribbean or of Caribbean descent. Most importantly, participants need to outline why they think they should be involved in the “Faces of Caribbean Airlines campaign”. The airline has succeeded in putting together an experienced panel of judges which includes: fashion designer Peter Elias, hairstylist Bally, photographer Calvin French, former Miss Universe and attorney-at-Law Wendy Fitzwilliam. The search will be coordinated by well known promotions manager Pixie Du Coudray and will culminate in an exclusive online show in September when the winners will be chosen via both public and judges’ votes. You can visit the Caribbean Airlines booth at the Trade and Investment Convention being held from 24 to 27 June at the Centre of Excellence in Macoya or check out the Faces of Caribbean Airlines group on Facebook.
