Caribbean Airlines announced today that it is expanding its service to Florida with the addition of four weekly flights to Fort Lauderdale. The new route will be launched on May 22nd 2008, offering more flexibility for service to South Florida. Caribbean Airlines is the only carrier servicing both Miami and Fort Lauderdale International Airport from Trinidad.

The new network expansion will allow Caribbean Airlines to better cover South Florida and offers more options and flexibility to customers. In addition to the new 4 weekly flights to Fort Lauderdale, the airline continues to offer daily service to Miami’s newest facility, the state-of-the-art Terminal J. “Caribbean Airlines understands that the traveling public wants reliability, options and flexibility”, says Caribbean Airlines’ CEO, Philip Saunders. “By going to Fort Lauderdale, we are truly the natural first choice for passengers traveling to South Florida, offering the best performance and value for money of any other carrier servicing the route”.

Caribbean Airlines recently announced that it will start operating three daily flights to New York City on July 1st 2008 and will offer 9 flights per week to Toronto, Canada from April 15th 2008. The airline offers more flights from Trinidad to Canada or the US than any other carrier.
