Caribbean Airlines’ frequent flyer programme, Caribbean Miles has launched a new partnership with the Intimate Hotels of Barbados Group. The agreement was finalised at the Dover Beach Hotel in St. Lawrence, Barbados this week with six properties from the Intimate Hotels group signing contracts to host an earn and burn miles relationship.

The participating properties are All Seasons Resort – Europa, Dover Beach Hotel, Golden Sands Hotel, Nautilus Beach Apartments, Pirate’s Inn and Rostrevor Hotel. All will offer miles accrual to Caribbean Miles members at a rate of 1 mile per US$1 spend at their property. All the properties will also offer redemption of miles which means that members may now use their miles for free stay at the properties.

“The new partnership is keeping in line with Caribbean Miles’ goal to be the number one frequent flyer programme in the region”, said Caribbean Airlines’ Director of Marketing Francois Pariseau. “In launching this initiative we are giving our members more opportunities to earn and redeem miles, bringing greater value and rewarding them for their loyalty.

” The Intimate Hotels of Barbados was established in 2000 and consists of 48 small (fewer than 75 rooms) independent, locally owned properties throughout Barbados. Through the Intimate Hotels of Barbados Group, these small hotels have joined forces in a cooperative venture to achieve sustainable growth in product and service quality, through the facilitation of marketing and management services. “Intimate Hotels is pleased to partner with Caribbean Airlines, the region’s premier airline, in an effort to generate more revenue for both entities” says Gayle Headley-Lowe - Executive Director, Intimate Hotels of Barbados.

Other Intimate Hotels Barbados properties will be joining the partnership in the near future. Both parties will benefit from cross marketing opportunities and joint ventures. More information in the partnership can be found on the Caribbean Airlines’ website caribbean-airlines.com.
