Caribbean Airlines recorded a 93.9% on-time performance (OTP) for February 2007, surpassing the aviation industry standard of 85% and the airline’s January average of 92%. The 93.9% average included 13 days of 100% OTP and 5 consecutive 100% OTP days from February 5-9. 100% OTP indicates that all flights to all destinations departed at the scheduled time or earlier. The airline’s OTP average to date for March is 94.74%.
This excellence in performance is directly related to the teamwork and commitment of Caribbean Airlines employees and Ground Handling support services.
“With continued effort, focus and cooperation, Caribbean Airlines’ is fulfilling its commitment to our customers to achieve on-time performance and to deliver a safe, reliable and courteous service. We thank our customers for their support and aim to sustain our progress and make a discernible, positive difference to their travel experience. Naturally, this result could not be achieved without the hard work and dedication of Caribbean Airlines’ employees”, stated Dionne Ligoure, Director Corporate Affairs.
Caribbean Airlines was launched on January 01, 2007, to serve the Caribbean from its base in Trinidad and Tobago, the hub of the Americas, linking the twin-island republic and many other Caribbean islands with North America, South America and the United Kingdom.
