Caribbean Airlines has migrated to a new system. The booking process generally remains the same with some minor changes as follows:
Security
Caribbean Airlines continues to maintain secure server protocols for transacting personal and payment information. The system encrypts all of your personal information, including credit card numbers, names and addresses, so that they cannot be read by others as the information is transmitted over the internet.
Book Now Pay Later
This payment option works similarly to the previous “Pay at Caribbean Airlines” so that the booking will still hold for 24 hours. Some fares are only applicable for sale from your departure country, and these can be ticketed via our Call Centre. If you go to a ticketing office located in a different country, this fare may not apply. Please check item number 15 of the fare rules.
Bookings including infants
When an infant is selected, the only payment option that will be available is the “Book Now Pay Later.” Due to aviation regulation, an aircraft can only transport a stipulated number of infants. If you are the cardholder you can pay for this booking using your credit card via our Call Centre.
Member Login
If you have created or updated your member login after 01 January 2009 your username and password will be active in this new system. If your member login was created prior to 01 January 2009; and the first name in your profile has only an initial; your username and/or password has 4 or less characters you will now be required to create a new profile.
Advance Passenger Information System (APIS)
The US Customs and Border Control and the US Department of Transportation both require customers to submit specific travel details ahead of their date of departure. This feature has been upgraded, and is available to customers who have completed payment for their online bookings.
